The Tour
The 2024 tours are the 13th and 14th edition of the Cape Breton Fall Colors tour around the entire Cabot Trail. I keep going back not only because it’s beautiful. I keep going back because it’s part of who I am. It truly is an incredible place to explore, especially with your Camera. A Great inventor is known for comparing the Cape Breton Highlands to other famous mountain ranges around the World:
“I have travelled the globe. I have seen the Canadian and American Rockies, the Andes and the Alps and the highlands of Scotland, but for simply beauty, Cape Breton outrivals them all.”
– Alexander Graham Bell
… and I concur Mr. Bell.

Tour leader/organizer
I grew up in Nova Scotia spending my Summers on the Western reaches of the Cabot Trail in Cheticamp, NS. I now live in beautiful Banff, AB and return to Nova Scotia each Fall to visit Family and to photograph the incredible landscapes found there. I know the area very, very well.
I’ve explored every corner of Northwestern Cape Breton Island as a curious teenager with a car at his disposal. I’ve even ridden my bicycle around the 185 mile, 298km, Cabot Trail on a 3 day trip. And, I’m still exploring it 30 years later as a veteran Pro Photographer.
Honestly, you won’t find a better person suited to guide you with your camera in the area.
